HazoHaus: rugs with heritage looks and a washing-machine life

HazoHaus prints boho, vintage, floral, modern and kids designs on one honest base: low pile, non-slip backing, machine washable. The pattern is the decoration; the construction is the promise.

The catalogue

Five shelves, one construction

Every HazoHaus design is printed on the same washable base, so choosing is only ever about the pattern.

Why this construction

Ten reasons a HazoHaus rug is built the way it is

The washing machine is the care plan

Every design here washes at home: cold water, gentle cycle, tumble low. No van, no specialist, no living with the stain until spring.

Non-slip rubber backing

The backing grips wood and tile on its own, with no tape or glue. Reviewers with robot vacuums report the rug staying put through cleaning passes.

A quarter inch of pile

Low pile is the quiet superpower: doors sweep over it, robot vacuums climb it, chairs stand level on it, and it folds into a drum.

Stain and fade resistant

The face fibre is specified stain and fade resistant, so the pattern you unroll is the pattern you keep, wash after wash.

Lives with pets

Pet hair sits on top of a low pile instead of weaving into it, and the machine handles what the vacuum leaves. The specification says pet friendly; the reviews say dog approved.

Kid-safe by specification

The kids shelf is specified non-toxic and child-safe, printed with scenes that give floor play something to look at. The rest of the house gets the same base.

876 cuts across 37 sizes

Doormats, runners to twenty feet, rounds, ovals, squares and rooms up to 10x14. One design carries through every cut, so the hall can match the living room.

One construction standard

All 49 designs share the same base: printed face, low pile, non-slip backing. Pick the pattern freely; the practical part is already decided.

Light enough to live with

A 5x7 weighs a few pounds. Moving it to the machine, the next room or the next apartment is a one-person job with one free hand.

Amazing rug!

“This rug is perfect! We got the 6x8 size and it is extremely grippy and non-slip. It’s perfect for my toddlers room. There was no odor when I unboxed it. It’s incredibly soft and very comfortable for her to lay down and play.”

Good quality rug that holds up in the wash.

“Got this rug for my entryway and I absolutely love it. It ties together all of the colors well. It doesn’t slip around and has washed well other washable rugs have frayed and torn with a couple washes but this one is holding up well.”

I would not hesitate to recommend this rug

“If you’ve had machine washable rugs before, you understand that they are thinner compared to traditional rugs. This is what allows them to be machine washed. This rug feels and looks good on my floor. It definitely does not appear to be cheap or flimsy. The non slip backing works well. It has been vacuumed by my robot vacuum several times without any problem.”

Vibrant Carpet! Great for Child’s Room.

“I love the look of this carpet! It’s perfect for a child’s room. It is very thin, so if you’re looking for something with cushion you’ll either need to get padding to go underneath. So far it’s been easy to clean. Overall I think the quality is good and the carpet is sturdy and durable.”

Why trust this page

The claims, and where they come from

The allergy angle, without the stretch

AAFA's indoor-allergen guidance prefers bare floors, and where carpet exists it names one acceptable version: low-pile rugs you can wash. That sentence is this catalogue's construction, and it is the whole extent of our allergy claim.

Slip safety, quoted honestly

The National Institute on Aging says carpets must be fixed firmly so they cannot slip, and advises older households against small loose rugs entirely. Our non-slip backing exists for the first sentence, and we print the second one instead of hiding it.

The kids shelf follows the pediatricians

The AAP's tummy-time guidance describes floor play in short, supervised sessions, with toys around the baby. Our kids rugs are a stage for exactly that, and the supervision rule is repeated on the shelf rather than replaced by it.
