“This is one of those very flat washable rugs. It has a velour like surface, but it's more like a floor cloth. It is very pretty, the colors pop nicely and work in my bedroom decor. It's easy to keep clean since there isn't pile for dirt to hide in. I would imagine it's easy to spot clean, but I haven't had to do that yet. I've had it about a month and it is just starting to lay flat, it took a while for the folds to flatten out. If you are looking for something plush and soft underfoot, this isn't the rug for you. But if you want something to cover a cold, hard floor this will do nicely.”
